Kamal Hassan Viswaroopam with Auro 3D Sound:
If you have to pick a versatile and terrific actor who can either exaggerate or downplay any kind of emotion with ease, Kamal Hassan's name tops the list. But he tastes a bitter success these days and is trying to bring 'technology' support to bring hype to his films.
Kamal got good response for his latest 'Viswaroopam' but to recover the complete budget the hype surrounding it is not enough. He needs to cross territories with some powerful aura, and for that he has chosen 'Auro 3D', a next generation audio format that delivers a full three dimensional sound in a 11.1 surround system. Till here it is okay, but what gives the user a full experience of this latest sound format is the presence of those specialized speakers in theatres. Are our theatre owners ready to install this latest technology for the sake of Kamal Hassan?
With practical problems in the queue, Kamal's 'sound' hungama will be just a hype creating effort, but never gives that 3D feel to common cine goer. We have to see if Kamal is having any answer for this.
