All Odds against Ram Charan!
What would be the fate of this Top League South Indian Actor who is debuting with Amitabh's Zanjeer remake in Hindi Film Industry? This is a big doubt for the film lovers who have seen South Indian Superstar Chiru, Rajini, Kamal and Mohanlal testing the waters in B-Town in the past, but couldn't cement their place in the Industry.
Experts say, South Actor should lookalike North Indians and also must be able to speak the language in familiar accent to get accepted in Bollywood. Even South Indian filmmakers like Prabhudeva and Murugadoss prefer a regular Hindi hero for their films in Bollywood to connect with the masses of North. While Prabhudeva remaked Pokiri as Wanted with Salman and Vikramarkudu as Rowdy Rathore with Akshay, Murugadoss has done Ghajini remake with Aamir Khan and planning Thupaki remake with Akshay Kumar.
When asked Madhavan who is the only South Hero to make a mark in B-Town in the recent times to come up with suggestions for South Indian Stars dreaming big in Bollywood, he replied, "South Stars aiming Bollywood is like North Stars aiming Hollywood. Here only commercial success matters. I feel it is better to stick to your core area and play to your strengths".
Despite all these odds, Ram Charan succeed in Bollywood? Let's hope a Telugu Star makes a huge impact in the Hindi Film Industry!
