Mega Star chiranjeevi sworn as Central Minister (state) Cabinet of Congress UPA Government . Entire Mega family has traveled to New Delhi yesterday evening by a chartered flight to witness the swearing in ceremony of chiranjeevi. chiranjeevi honored with an Independent Charge .’No post can really up my range or make it down. My position is standard, permanent and high in the hearts of Telugu people’, said Chiranjeevi. He expressed deep gratitude to Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minsiter Manmohan and members of congress party. He also expressed that ‘I haven’t laid any conditions to the high-command that they have to offer me posts if I merge Praja Rajyam with Congress’, he clarifies.Chiranjeevi and former chief minister K. Vijayabhaskara Reddy’s son K. Suryaprakash Reddy are among five Congress MPs who got inducted into the cabinet. Chiru will be back to Hyderabad on 31st by a special flight. Chiranjeevi is a famour Telugu Hero in Andhra Pradesh. He is known as Mega Star in the state and acted in 149 films. He entered into politics in 2008 through launching Praja Rajyam Party. His party contested in all the seats in 2009 elections and managed to secure 18 seats. PRP was merged in the Congress in 2011 and Chiranjeevi was elected to Rajya Sabha .Chiranjeevi, whose original name was Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad has been appointed as Union Minister on 28th October 2012.
