Director Ram Gopal Varma in Queue for Sridevi's Film Ticket!
Ram Gopal Varma, the self-proclaimed fan of Sridevi, has been excited and eagerly waiting for the glamorous diva's comeback film English Vinglish. This controversial filmmaker has publicly expressed his admiration for the veteran actress's beauty several times on public platform. Now, Ramu declares that he is gonna do something he hasn't done since he became a director and the reason behind it is Sridevi. "Can't wait for Friday. For first time in 20 years, ever since I became a director, I am going to stand in a line and buy a ticket to see Sridevi," he announces.
RGV had the pleasure of directing Sridevi in a couple of flicks in Telugu, one opposite Nagarjuna (Govinda Govinda) and the other with Venkatesh (Kshana Kshanam) in early 90s.
Sridevi bid adieu to films after tying the knot with Boney Kapoor in 1996. She is back to glamour world after 16 long years and the 49-year-old plays the role of a housewife who strives to get command on the english language in English Vinglish, which is scheduled for October 5 release. The reports of standing ovation at Toranto Film Festival has increased the expectations on the film and Sridevi's performance. Let's wish, Athiloka Sundari's re-entry lives up to the hype!
