Rana Uses Chiru's Name to Defend Himself!
Despite working under renowned directors like Puri Jagannath, Sekhar Kammula and Rohan Sippy (Dum Maaro Dum), Rana Daggubati failed to score his first commercial success until now. Whom should be blamed for this situation? Is it the choice of films Rana made? or His inability to reach out to the masses?
When quizzed about the same, Rana shot back,"Is there any guarantee that every film will become a blockbuster? Chiranjeevi garu has done 150 films upto now and in that, hardly 40 were super hits which are instrumental in establishing him as a star. I would never sign a film based on the calculations of how much it would collect, instead focuses on what I will learn from it".
Rana should realize a thing or two here. Film Making is like any other business and Commercial Viability is very crucial here to survive, plus no producer would pour money into his films just to make him learn something. If this Tollywood hunk continues his flop streak, then producers may back out and that situation will mount pressure on Suresh Babu to rescue his Son.
