Rebel Tops Tollywood Remakes Rights:
When all the critics of Telugu cinema had written off it as a routine mass masala, Prabhas’ recent release Rebel had a surprise in store for every one. The Hindi remake rights of the movie had fetched a bomb. Manish from Mumbai bagged the Hindi dubbing rights of the movie for a whooping amount of Rs 2.15 crores. This is the highest for any Telugu movie in recent times. However, there is no clarity regarding who will be casted in the movie.
On the other side, Lawerence’ earlier movie ‘Kanchana’ is also being made in Hindi with Sanjay Dutt playing the role of Sarath Kumar.
