Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in Zanjeer:
Ram Charan is a happy man now with everything falling in place for his debut Bollywood flick Zanjeer which is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan's superhit and also instrumental in giving him the Angry-Young Man tag.
Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood were roped in to play the iconic character of Sher Khan in Charan's bi-lingual Zanjeer. While Dutt who is one of the most sought after actor in Bollywood will do the job for Hindi version, Sonu who has a name for himself in South will be working for the Telugu version.
Although Sanjay Dutt was the first choice of Zanjeer makers for the role, the actor turned down the offer due to date issues. Later, Sonu Sood has been roped for both the versions initially, but now he was asked to be part of only the Telugu version. The makers approached Sanjay again with the script and the actor who suffered a big blow with the collosal flop of Ram Gopal Varma's Department agreed to sign the film and also suggested few changes in the script.
Knowing the news, Ram Charan called Sanjay to share his happiness. The combination scenes of Charan and Dutt would be shot in November.
