Sharmila invites Pranab for Saif Kareena’s Wedding:
Veteran actor Sharmila Tagore on Friday extended an invitation to President Pranab Mukherjee for the upcoming wedding of her son, actor Saif Ali Khan, with colleague Kareena Kapoor.
The President spent about 15 minutes with the former Central Board of Film Certification chairperson at Rashtrapati Bhavan, during which he congratulated her on the wedding, official sources said, adding that Mr. Mukherjee is unlikely to attend the ceremony.
The wedding reportedly is scheduled for October 16 and a grand reception will be held two days later.
