1000 Theaters for Rana's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum:
These days, the fate of a film is being decided with openings it could garner and so the makers are going for a massive release to encash the initial advantage before the talk stabilizes.
Rana's Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum is scheduled for release on November 30 and as many as 1000 screens have already been booked for it. This is surprising because none of the actor's previous films had been released not even in half of that number. Producer D Suresh Babu who acquired the Nizam theatrical rights of the film has played a bigger role in ensuring a never seen before release for his son.
The question is whether Rana who failed to register at least a single solid hit until now is worth that big release? Can he succeed in making a large number of people throng theaters and set the cash registers ringing after successive Box Office duds? Director Krish's brand name, Unique Storyline, Manisharma's music and Nayantara (comeback film) are the USP of Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. If Rana could earn the name as a standout performer, then the packaging may hit the right chord with the audience. Hope for the best!
