Faded Lady Singer Usha Back In Demand:
Long long ago there present a singer who kicked melody to a new level with her sweet voice and heart touching renderings. However, she fizzled out in no time for reasons unknown and once again she is back, and became a story in this column.
Singer Usha, who shot to fame after winning back to back Nandi awards in 2001 and 2002 as a best singer has become lesser known celebrity after wards. Though she has bunch of super hits in 2004-05, she is just limited to less publicized songs and often duds. After playing lot of hide and seek for years, Usha is now very much active on singing circuits. They say that her latest program 'Swara Neerajanam' on a Telugu channel got her much popularity. Interesting aspect is that she got a couple of Bollywood offers in her kitty now.
However, cine observers say that it is not just Usha, but many other popular singers have lost edge now due to age factor and competition. So, it is all about how much the amass in the lesser available time.
