IT Raids On 50 Tollywood Celebrities:
Houses of more than 50 top celebrities of Tollywood are being raided at the moment. Income Tax department is checking whether all these high profile celebrities are paying tax and filing returns properly or not. Today evening happens to be the big 'muhurtham' for the sudden attack planned by IT team and currently Tollywood is oozing sweat with these raids.
Income Tax officials along with ACB and GHMC teams have first raided the house of Comedian Brahmanandam, while Film Circle commissioner and other 40 officers are raiding the houses of TV personalities.
The list of other people currently being raided includes Anchors Suma, Jhansi, Udaya Bhanu, 'Aata' Omkaar, Singer Sunitha and Geetha Madhuri and others, say media reports. For the first time, Income Tax department is raiding the houses of TV personalities in and around Film Nagar, Manikonda and Mothi Nagar.
