Kannada Five Movie Releasing on Nov 30:
There is a theory in economics. Comer comes, goers goes – No asker No teller! This seems to be the situation for Kannada film releases.While it is difficult to get audiences for two releases time and again the numbers are increasing. This 30th November Kannada audience has five films hitting the silver screen.
Olavine Ole’ a film on caste system turning treacherous, ‘Ashakiranagalu’ a film on environment, ‘Samsaradalli Golmal’ a remake of Dr Dasari Narayan Rao ‘Adivaram Adavallaku Selavu’ on tensions and pretensions in the family, ‘Sri Chowdeshwari Devi Mahime’ a film on the significance of goddess Chowdeshari and fifth one to hit is ‘Hosa Prema Purana’ a film on the living together in the society are ready to hit the silver screen.
Ashakiranagalu– The need for protecting environment and education to children has story from producer D Lakshman Nayak. GV Rama Rao has penned the screenplay and directed the film. G Narayan is cameraman, Sai Gurunath has tuned music. Dhuniya Rashmi, Jagadish, Jayalakshmi Harish Rai, MS Umesh, Shanker Patil, Chikka Hejjaje Mahadev, Master Mithun, Master Balaji, Master Abisekh, Master Kiran and Kumari Navya are in the cast.
Hosa Prema Purana – This is an up to date cinema as for as the contents are concerned. Living together in society has become the fashion. Life without commitment like marriage is the thought of producer Prasad Salumara and director Shivakumar.
Three lovely heroines – Shradda Das, Radhika Gandhi and Pooja Gandhi are in the cast with Nithin as hero. Pooja Gandhi comes in one song. The relation and affair for the hero is with two heroines.Gauri Venkatesh is cameraman, Rajesh Ramanath has scored music. Sangeetha, Shanker Rao, Jigani Chandrasekhar and others are in the cast.
‘Olavina Ole’ - Known as firebrand director in Kannada cinema Teshi Venkatesh has picked a real life incident for his film in Teshi Films. Mamatha Venkatesh is the producer. Venkatesh has directed films like Bangalore Bundh and Monda in the past. He has written the story, screenplay, songs and directed the film ‘Olavina Ole’. Yashovardhan is music director and Mahantesh Maski is cameraman. Santosh and Neha Patil are in lead roles. Shanker Ashwath, Aruna Balaraj, Ruthu, Raani, Jayalakshmi, Escort Srinivas, Jayaram and others are in the cast.
‘Samsaradalli Golmal’ - Adivaram Adavallaku Selavu 2007 Telugu Movie for the story of Dr Dasari Narayana Rao is made in Kannada as ‘Samsaradalli Golmal’ by producer Prabhakar Reddy in the direction of Om Saiprakash. Raja Vannem Reddy directed the original film.The film ‘Samsaradalli Golmal’ slightly similar to the film ‘Yaare Salathe Sambala’ is worked out on five couples - Umasri-Raju Thalikote, Anu Prabhakar-Mohan, Tara – Sihikahi Chandru, Lakshmi Bagavathar-Tabala Naani, Nayaka Krishna- Sadhu Kokila.
Sadhu Kokila has used the two lines of 20 Kannada film songs for different occasions. Shakeela, Saikumar, Mukyamantri Chandru, Tennis Krishna, Shobaraj and others are in the cast. Hamsalekha and Kaviraj have lent lyrics for the songs. Ravi is dialogue writer for ‘Samsaradalli Golmal’.
'Sri Chowdeshwari Devi Mahime' – This is on the significance of Goddess Chowdeshwari caters to the devotees. The power of Goddess and its support to the good is focused in this film. A devotional cum mythological film is produced and directed by a devotee of Chowdeshwari Devi – Ramanna.
Actress of high reputation in South India Raja is in the role of Goddess Chowdeshwari Devi. Saroja Ramanna is official producer. Bhavya Sri Rai, Shobaraj, Rekha, Girish Kumar, Navya, Muni and others are in the cast. Suresh Vikram is cameraman, Johny Harsha has edited the film and veteran Lakshminarayana Goochi who is a great devotee of Lord Hanuman has scored the music for the film.
