In fact, our mass action heroes started using different kind of weapons, mainly swords with the advent of directors like V V Vinayak and S S Rajamouli. In movies like Simhadri, Yogi, Vikramarkudu, Lakshmi, Badrinath and Eega, we have seen our heroes using different kind of designer swords to hunt villains. The trend continues for Ramcharan's upcoming treat 'Naayak' that is getting sculpted in the direction of Vinayak.
Here in the recently released working still of the movie, V V Vinayak is seen explaining a shot to actors, and the thing he is holding in his hand seems to be the weapon of our Mega Powerstar. This entire 'designer sword' episode is shot extensively in Kolkata. We have to wait till Jan 9, 2013 to see the bloodshed made by that designer sword.
