Ram Charan's Khaidi Remake in Harish Shankar Direction:
The reports of producer Thandra Ramesh acquiring the remake rights of Chiranjeevi's landmark film 'Khaidi' has been giving sleepless nights to the Mega fans, as there is no confirmation about the protagonist in the modern version. At last, they have got a reason to smile now.
Grapevine in the Industry is that the offer has landed in Ram Charan's lap, despite Mahesh Babu keen on doing the film. Charan will star in this remake which would be directed by Harish Shankar of Gabbar Singh fame. Impressed with the work of Harish who made vast changes to the script of Dabangg to suit the sensibilities of audience here, Chiru has voted for this hotshot director.
Sources say, Khaidi remake will go to the floors only in the second half of 2013 as both the actor and the director were busy with their prior commitments.
