The first look of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ambitious ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was released Thursday evening.Starring Farhan Akhtar, and Sonam Kapoor in a cameo, the film is a biopic on veteran athlete Milkha Singh.
Popularly known as the Flying Sikh, Milkha represented India in the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome and the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and won gold medals in 200 meter race at the Asian Games in 1958 and 1962.
Filmmaker and actor Farhaan AKhtar has been preparing for a long time to look the part which is evident in the teaser.The film has been written by Prasoon Joshi and Milkha Singh apparently took active interest in the making of film, giving insights about his life to the crew to make it look authentic in the film.
The film is scheduled to release on 12 July, 2013.
