For Anjali Patil the subject of Naxalite in ‘Chakravyuh’ is repeating in Kannada film ‘Apna Desh’. An ardent fan of Dr Girish Karnad Jnanapith award winner after reading ‘Hayavadana’ play has accepted this film because Dr Karnad is also playing an important role in this film ‘Apna Desh’.
Hailing from Nashik getting good mileage from Hindi political thriller ‘Chakravyuh’ Anjali was selected by director E Chennagangappa after watching her performance. In this ‘Apna Desh’ Anjali plays Vasundhara a brilliant fighter against the system and it connects very much to my life she says addressing the media on Monday night at Gold Finch Hotel in Bangalore.
Highly admiring the locations of Kuduremukh she shot for the film Anjali says Karnataka with its rich environment is a beauty and also brainy because it has got maximum number of Jnanapith award winners.
As a graduate from NSD in the direction department Anjali Patil says the director in her will be always awake in doing performance. I did not want to become an actress but it came as a surprise for me in ‘Delhi in a Day’ in 2011 recalls the pretty actress.
Anjali Patil acted in a short film ‘Green Bangles’, in Telugu she was in ‘Prathyayam’ and the Hindi film she has signed is ‘Satyagrah’.
