Srinu Vaitla's Chappals Controversy:
Ace director Sreenu Vaitla is in the news again and it became a big debate in Film Nagar. From a couple of days, director Bandla Ganesh has been raving about his commitment for 'Baadshah' movie, but here is a news that is overtaking it.
Last week, director SreenuVaitla, producer Bandla Ganesh and their good buddies have visited Sabarimala shrine. It was heard that Sreenu Vaitla has took Ayappa deeksha for a while praying to God to make the best happen for him. But a picture featuring Vaitla and his producer during that time is generating a big controversy. The director was seen wearing the disciplined black dress for deeksha, black towel on shoulders, bead chains around neck and a sandal 'bottu' on forehead. However, he was sporting chappals, which is against the disciplinary way of life an Ayyappa deeksha wearer should follow.
Many people are not able to understand why a big director like Sreenu Vaitla is not following the customs perfectly. We have to see what our director has to say about this.
