Suryakantham is Irreplaceable:
Legendary character actor Suryakantham is the most respected among the film celebrities in those days says Ramaprabha who has acted along with her in number of movies. Ramaprabha is close to many great actors and used to call everyone as 'Orey, Osey', but she always respected Suryakantham.
Suryakantham is a different person off screen says Ramaprabha. 'She is soft spoken and very well mannered. She never loses her cool', she told. Even Ram Gopal Varma told the same about Suryakantham. He says that he wanted to watch her onscreen than off screen as he likes to see her as arrogant woman than as a calm person.
Telugu film industry has lost many legends, but someone or the other came in to fill that gap. Suryakantham's loss is the greatest as our film industry is still finding it tough to find a right actor who can match her skills. Akkineni and Nandamuri heroes are trying hard to remake the classic Gundamma Katha for years. But till now they haven't found an actor who can be a right choice for Suryakantham's role. Do we have to say anything more about an actor's greatness?
