The Reema Kagti directed film Talaash starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in leads, has concluded the first weekend with a superb collection at the Box Office in India. The most-hyped psychological suspense thriller has crossed Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic business centres in the first weekend. With this, it has smashed the opening weekend record of Aamir's last release 3 Idiots.
Talaash, which was released in 2,500 screens on November 30, opened to a superb response in the morning shows across the country on Friday. The film critics gave positive reviews, which took its business upwards in the later shows. The movie collected Rs 14.52 crores nett at the domestic Box Office on the first day of its release. But it failed to beat the record of Shahrukh's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which had raked in Rs 15.23 crores from 2,500 screens in the country.
A positive word of mouth for the movie Talaash spread like wildfire taking its collection upwards further on Saturday. The suspense thriller showed 12% growth in its business on the second day.
