Vijay Completes 20 Years in Tamil Cinema Industry:
Ilayathalapathy Vijay, the not so good-looking actor who has backed many fans in Kollywood with his action star image, has successfully completed T20 years in the Tamil Film Industry.
Vijay, son of director-producer SA Chandrasekhar and carnatic singer Shoba has started his career in TFI with Naalaiya Theerpu in 1992 and traveled a long way of 20 years with many ups and downs in his cinema career. Vijay has so far entertained K-town audiences with 55 movies in the past 20 years and recently debuted to Bollywood with a cameo in Akshay Kumar’s Hindi film Rowdy Rathore.
After basking with a superhit Thuppakki directed by AR Murugadoss in 2012, Vijay is currently busy with his upcoming untitled venture with Amala Paul. Unit of this yet-to-be-titled Vijay starrer is shooting for a 40-days long schedule in Mumbai in the direction of AL Vijay.
Meanwhile Ilayathalapathy will also be seen in multistarrer traveling script Onbadhula Guru in a special appearance along with Jeeva, after they shared screen space in Shankar’s Nanban.
