As per the basic plot of the original, Gangster Teja kills Vijay's (Ram Charan) parents when he was a child and 20 years later the protagonist takes charge as Police Inspector and settles scores with the criminal. Of course, few changes to the script to suit the taste of the contemporary audience is inevitable, but the basic storyline remains the same.
