It will be a dream for any artist in India to act in the direction of most creative and most talented maniratnam. We have heard enough buzz on Mahesh Babu being approached by some Tamil producers and director Mani for the project of 'Ponniyan Selvan.' Mani explained later to Mahesh on how 'Ponniyan Selvan' can be made as a tri-lingual to safeguard the interests of producer.
