Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar who has several times topped the list of highest taxpayers in Bollywood, has emerged on the top once again.
Apparently, the superstar, whose first release of the year ‘Special Chabbis’ did a great business at the box office, has paid an advance tax of Rs.18 crore for the first quarter of 2013.
Followed Akshay Kumar in the list, were the three other reigning superstars of Bollywood – Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
While Salman Khan came second with Rs.11 crore tax payment, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan paid tax of Rs.10.5 crore and Rs.8 crore respectively and occupied third and fourth position.
Among the actresses, it was Katrina Kaif who paid the highest tax of Rs.4.5 crore. Her arch rivals Kareena Kapoor and Pryanka Chopra were not left much behind too. Kareena and Priyanka paid advance tax of Rs.4 crore and Rs.2 crore respectively.
