If the latest reports are to be believed, actress Anushka Sharma is one of among the favorites to bag a female lead in Hollywood’s legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s next film.
Apparently, the film being talked about is said to be based on India – Pakistan relationship over Kashmir issue. And the filmmaker is currently in India to finalize the details about his latest project.
If everything falls into the right place, Anushka may work with mega stars like as Denzel Washington, Richard Gere and Bradley Cooper in the Spielberg film.
However, Spielberg is yet to make an official announcement regarding the film’s cast and crew.
“We have finalized a script but we are still trying to figure out the casting, locations and who is going to direct it,” said Spielberg in his interview with Big B.
While many are stunned with the development, Anushka’s ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ and ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Behl’ director Maneesh Sharma states that Anushka is a powerhouse actress and he isn’t surprised with the reports at all.
“Anushka bagging anything stupendous is not a surprise. She is one of the finest and nuanced talents of our fraternity,” said he.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is right now busy shooting for her latest film ‘P.K.’ in which she has been cast opposite Aamir Khan. She is also doing Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Besharam’ with Ranbir Kapoor.
