Actor Arjun Kapoor who worked with actress Parineeti Chopra in his first film ‘Ishaqzaade’ is very happy with his co-star bagging an honor of a special mention at the 60th National Awards.
Arjun says Parineeti’s role in ‘Ishaqzaade’ was a very difficult one but she played it amazingly well and he is glad that her hard work has paid off.
“I am really happy for her and she really deserves it. Very few roles like that get written. It was a tough act and there was hunger in her eyes. It’s very heartwarming,” tells he.
The young actor who is right now working in Yash Raj banner’s ‘Gunday’, further asserts that ‘Chopra’ surname holds a special place in his professional life and he is happy to be working with them.
Arjun asserts, “I was launched by Yash Chopra’s banner and Aditya Chopra, my first co-star was Parineeti and now I am working with Priyanka. I think they will always be around me.”
Besides ‘Gunday’, Arjun is working on films like ‘Aurangzeb’, ‘2 States’ and ‘Okkadu’ remake.
