If the latest reports are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor may star in filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee’s short film which is a part of ‘Bombay Talkies’, an anthology film containing four parts.
Interestingly, Dibakar has already signed ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for the film and if the reports are true, then it would be sort of a casting coup to have Ranbir and Nawazuddin sharing the screen space.
However, Dibakar seems to be trying to keep Ranbir’s present very secret. When asked about the reports, he said, “That you will have to see, that is the biggest secret of our film. But we do have Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film. I can’t reveal much.”
About his story in the film, Dibakar informed that it would be high on drama and has given it a regional touch.
“I would be making an emotional film, It’s a tear jerker. I wanted to include regional flavor so it has the use of Marathi language in it,” told he.
Apart from Dibakar Banerjee, other three directors whose short films are part of ‘Bombay Talkies’ are – Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar. The film celebrating the 100 years of Indian cinema is expected to release on May 3.
