The movie Amaran is in the final stages of locking in its full cast and crew. The film is titled ‘Amaran’ that reminds one of yesteryear Karthik – Bhanupriya blockbuster hit which was titled with the same name.
While Monica is the heroine in the film, Adarsh who played Madhikettan Salai earlier will be seen in an action hero role.
News is that the new Amaran will be a gangster thriller and will have its shots canned in North Chennai. This part of Chennai has become a favorite spot for filmmakers, with National award winning director Vetrimaran doing the honors of naming his next -Vada Chennai.
Once the rest of the cast and crew are finalized a formal announcement will be made by the makers. ‘Amaran’ is touted to introduce a different avatar of the lead, Adarsh and Monica, to audience.
Sources say that Monica plays a role with shades of grey and has plenty of scope to perform.
