Prabhas Rebel with a Big Problem of Music Director!!
Prabhas's Rebel is gearing up for release shortly and the buzz around the film is getting bigger as the film approaches the release day. Audio launch will kick start the promotions of Rebel. Raghava Lawrence is the director of this film and he has also composed music for it. Earlier Lawrence scored music for Nagarjuna's Don.
Audio teasers of Rebel were released on Thursday and they don't sound impressive. Not having frontline music director should be a big problem for Rebel. First it was Thaman who was roped in as music director for Rebel and later he was replaced by Lawrence as differences cropped up. Thaman has been riding high with a series of musical hits and might have done definitely better than what Lawrence did.
If Lawrence had problems with Thaman, he should have gone for some other professional music director as so many crores are riding on this film. Lawrence is surely a good director with great command over commercial elements. But music direction is a different ball game. Let's wait until the full album releases before writing it off completely.
