TV Channel's Fake News about Rajamouli Oscar Award!!
The over enthusiasm of TV news channels and their constant efforts to be the first one to give sensational news is known. But in this process there are times when they tend to goof up. Something like that happened recently with a noted news channel and here is how it went.
Apparently, a scrolling began to run in the news channel that Rajamouli's film 'Eega' got an Oscar award nomination. In no time, it was followed by another scrolling that Rajamouli has become the first Telugu director to get the honour. Actually, 'Eega' has been taken in as the contender for nominations to Oscars.
The film would be competing along with flicks like 'Barfi' 'Heroine' 'Kahaani' and 15 other films. But without listening to the whole story and in a haste to create sensationalism the scroller came with breaking news. Of course, it got removed after few minutes. The same channel mentioned sometime back that actress Asha Parekh died. Actually, that day AK Hangal died in Asha Parekh hospital and that got twisted like this.
