High Drama Behind Damarukam Release:
Nagarjuna's Damarukam, which was supposed to release on October 19 won't be releasing on that day. It has been postponed by a day, which means it will release on October 20. Why did Damarukam makers opt for Saturday release? As per sources the first copy of Damarukam isn't ready yet.
Few shots of CG are yet to be done and it may take another couple of days to complete the work. Nagarjuna is firm on releasing Damarukam next week and hence the unit is under tremendous pressure to meet the deadline. It is not wise to go for such a tight release for a high budget film. However, Nagarjuna and Damarukam producer are taking the huge risk.
October 20th release was actually finalized on 12th evening itself. Even after sending the press note regarding slight change in the release schedule, Nagarjuna made an announcement that Damarukam will release on Oct 19th without fail. But that doesn't seem possible in any way and the makers have announced October 20th as the release day. On the other hand CGR is ready to strike the screens on October 18. DTS mixing is also complete and people are raving about the dialogs. Few people say that Damarukam may be pushed to October 24th if it cannot make by 20th.
