Okkadine is a romance-action flick, which is billed as a youthful and family entertainer. The movie expounds love and familial affection with reference to the contemporary living.

Nara Rohit's performance and Nithya Menon's glamour are the main highlights of the film. The first half of the movie has three songs, a few comedy sequences and no fights. This portion introduces lead characters and it is very slow and dragging in parts, but the unexpected and paranormal twist at the end sets your mood for an interesting ride in the second half.

Story:
A good tale handled weakly, the story begins with Sailaja (nithya) daughter of a well known social activist Sivaji Rao (sai kumar) who comes to India on a holiday. She goes to Vizag for vacation with a friend and here she meets Surya (nara rohit) a new IFS officer. Sailaja also meets Surya’s family and feels a completion to her loneliness. In between, Sailaja is witness to some killings of an inspector, an MLA. Meanwhile, she gets proposed by Surya and she also likes him. She shares this with Sivaji Rao who is preparing to enter politics. But in comes a twist that Sailaja doesn’t expect. What is that twist and how the story changes forms the rest of the film.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a somewhat interesting subject and while the presentation was average, the narrative was a letdown.  The dialogues were regular. The script was engrossing but the screenplay was very ineffective. The background score was mild and songs were not that good. Cinematography was erratic at few places.  Editing was required at few places. Costumes were youthful and stylish while the art department was worthy. Nara Rohit had a laidback role and it could have been filled with some power and energy. Nithya Menon is a natural beauty and she excels with her act. Sai Kumar was not used to his fullest. Same with Brahmanandam, Ali, M S Narayana. Naga Babu made his presence felt. Sathya Krishna didn’t get her due potential. Kota was usual. Srinivas Reddy was funny. Others didn’t have much to offer.

Conclusion:
Coming up with a good story or an interesting subject is not sufficient, one has to know how to make good use of this and come up with a good film. that didn’t happen here. The first half of the film goes in a mild manner and it is only the interval bang which really wakes up everyone. However, the second half failed to keep the momentum and there are many places which were not closed properly. Overall, this is a film which may not appeal either to the mass or the class audience. At the box office, it could turn out to be a below average fare.

Final verdict: Good subject, talented cast but weak execution
