Shriya had made entry into films 10 years back, Apart from acting, she is also involved in social activities now. She is also doing Yoga. She while speaking to the media said, “I am really astounded that I have grown up to this level in cinema.
I have acted in Telugul, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and English films. I have acted with big actors and films directed by big directors. I have acted in the films that had good stories and roles. I got a good recognition among the audience and people.
What else do I require? Had I not become am actress I would have become a dancer. In my young age I wanted to study a lot and become a graduate. This was not fulfilled because I became an actress. Now I am involved in yoga practice. Actress Amala introduced yoga to me. After this I am having peace of mind. Yoga helps to make us realize that who we are. I am interested in social welfare activities. I am helping lots of poor people. I am also helping the blind people.”
