Comedian Karunas fires at Nayanatara & Amala Paul:
Comedian Karunas who is playing the lead role in the Tamil flick 'Machan' found fault with Top Actress who weren't interested to team with actors like him.
Reportedly, Nayantara and Amala Paul have been approached by the makers for the female lead in the film but both of them turned down the offer. At the audio launch of the movie, Karunas shot back,"If the top heroine show their attitude in this way, where could budding heroes get their female leads from!".
As both the A-listers refused the proposal, Sheryl Pinto was casted as the leading lady to fill the glamour slot in the film which is said to be laugh riot.
This is not the first time top actresses had refused to pair opposite Comedians. Rajamouli has thought of casting Anushka for Maryada Ramanna, but Sweaty walked out of the project saying she wasn't keen to pair opposite Sunil. Even Nagarjuna revealed in one his previous interviews that an actress has refused to team up with him. If the most handsome hero in the Industry goes through such an experience, imagine what would be the situation of others! This is a reflection of the scarcity of top league actresses down South and also their insecurities.
