Ram Charan-starrer Nayak and Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh's Seethamma Vakilto Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) have been cashing in on the festive season in overseas too. Both the films have released in maximum number of theaters and have been raking in the moolah.
Naayak started with a bang in USA, but got eclipsed by SVSC when it opened. Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is rewriting the rules of the game. The film has embarked on a mind-blowing start in USA, garnering a rich haul in its opening weekend.
SEETHAMMA VAKITLO SIRIMALLE CHETTU [Telugu]: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 12,62,100 [Rs. 6.87 crores] on 69 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 18,291. Note:- Thu to Sun [4 days] figures.
NAAYAK [Telugu]: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 3,87,808 [Rs. 2.11 crores] on 54 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 7,182. Note:- Tue to Sun [6 days] figures.
Incidentally, this figure is from the reported screens only so the figure could be higher if the collection reports from all the theatres arrive. Generally, 30% can be added as the collection from other screens.
