Deepika Padukone’s been on a non-stop working spree as she hops from the sets of one film to another. And the actress who was in Kashmir recently shooting for yet another film says that even a two-
day break would be a welcome relief.
“I keep telling myself that even a one or two-day break would be great, but let’s see when I can finally succeed. As of now the word holiday doesn’t figure on my iterinary at all,” shares Deepika, who has
been juggling between her shoots of Chennai Express, Ram Leela and the Ayan Mukerji film with Ranbir Kapoor, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
Deepika, who’s success run continued at the box-office this year with Race 2, says that though she loves her work, the pace does get hectic. “Right now I have so many films in hand, that I am not thinking
about any more at all,” she smiles.
With the long list of films, also comes an interesting mix of co-stars — Ranbir, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh. Talking about the equations she shares with them, Deepika says it’s different with each co-
star. “There ought to be a certain comfort level with your co-star, otherwise there’s no chemistry on screen. The audience can see through that. Personally too I enjoy working with people who I can be
comfortable with,” she adds.
Though she refuses to name any one co-star with whom she shares great chemistry, she insists that it just can’t be created. “The chemistry is either there or it isn’t, you can’t create it. Luckily for me, in
most of my films the chemistry has all been on paper that just got translated well on screen.” So how’s the chemistry between her and Ranbir? “We share a certain comfort, which makes it all the more fun
working with him.” Point out that her equation with Saif creates quite a buzz too and she adds, “Like I said, great chemistry on paper just reflects well on screen.”
