2013 Britney Spears is making us forget all about 2007 Britney Spears.
The singer and mother of two was spotted doing a very good deed over the weekend, when she arrived at a Los Angeles pharmacy and saw a homeless man outside. The man begged her for change, saying he's "reached the end of his rope." Brit didn't think twice and headed over to the nearest ATM, took out $100 in $20 bills and handed them to him.
What followed was a bit less sympathetic, but doesn't detract from Spears' good example. As reports go, the homeless man was so excited about his newfound treasure that he jumped up to hug Britney. This startled Brit and she began to scream, prompting the pharmacy's security to run over and take charge.
According to onlookers, the guards took the money out of the man's hand, thinking he had just robbed the famous star. Spears then calmed them down and told them to leave the man alone and return him the money, since she willingly gave it to him.
The past few months have certainly been looking up for Spears, who's been spending some quality time with her family, was seen looking happy with her new boyfriend, got super excited for her sister's engagement, and turned brunette to favorable reviews.
