Everyone thought that critically acclaimed movie 'Barfi' will walk away with all honours at National Awards. Though Priyanka's decent performance as a mentally disabled girl failed to get recognition at various private awards, she thought that National Awards will give her some recognition at least. However, relatively less known actress Usha Jadav has walked away with honours as 'Best Actress' at 60th National Film Awards.
Expressing her anguish, Priyanka stated that she is upset for Barfi not bagging any award and concluded that everything is in the hands of jury of National Awards. Many critics however said that Charan's heroine has just portrayed one emotion in 'Barfi' while actresses like Usha Jadav redefined the formulae of acting.
