Actress Hema Malini Honoured:
Indian cinema’s evergreen ‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini received a tremendous honor from the Norwegian government when they released a stamp in praise of her contribution to Indian cinema. The distinction was bestowed upon her during the 10th Annual Bollywood festival in Norway that was held recently.
Hema Malini who was last seen in Tamil appearing in Kamal Hassan’s ‘Hey Ram’ was present at the event along with her daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. The actress who also served as a Rajya Sabha MP with the BJP quipped during the felicitation that it came as a total surprise and she didn’t have the age to jump up and express her feelings on receiving such an esteemed recognition.
