Samantha With Akkineni Family!!
Samantha seems to be on a roll since her comeback from illness. There are reports which suggested that the pretty lady has signed Suriya’s film directed by Lingusamy and now we are hearing from our sources that she is being roped in for director Vikram Kumar’s next film.
This film will be special in the sense that it will feature three generations of the Akkineni family – the legendary Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and his son Naga Chaitanya. We hear that the movie is going to be called ‘Thrayam’ and will be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. The director is reportedly hunting for the second heroine and the shooting will commence in December’12 with an August’13 release planned.
Vikram says, “The film will go on floors in December, and we are looking at an August release. Samantha will be playing one of the leads. We are still finalising the other heroine for this film.”
Samantha’s spokesperson confirms, “Though she hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet, she likes the story. Her character is quite interesting, and she will, in all probability, be doing this film.” Vikram had earlier said, “Thrayam is likely to be made as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, and all the characters will have equal screen time. I’m glad I could get them (the Akkinenis) to act together.”
