Actor Ajay Devgn who worked with film producer Gordhan Tanwani for films like ‘Ishq’ and ‘Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha’, may soon star in the producer’s next film.
Apparently, Ajay and Gordhan share a great professional relationship. In fact, Ajay had done an extended cameo in Gordhan’s 2006 film ‘Tarzan – The Wonder Car’.
According to the reports, Ajay may also co-produce the talked about film.
“In all likelihood, the film will be co-produced by Ajay’s production company, but the details are being worked out,” says a source close to the actor.
The source also informs that the film is going to be directed by Prabhudeva who is right now busy with ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ and it may star Deepika Padukone as Ajay’s leading lady.
“Prabhudheva’s last two films were remakes of south Indian films, but this time it’s going to be an original script. The film is likely to go on the floors in the second half of this year after Ajay wraps up Prakash Jha’s ‘Satyagraha’,” says the source.
Meanwhile, Ajay is currently occupied with the promotional activities of his latest film ‘Himmatwala’. The remake has been directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani and UTV Motion Pictures.
